Morena – Screenwriter & Storyteller
Morena is the co-scriptwriter of the acclaimed Nicaraguan TV drama series Contracorriente (Turning the Tide), produced by Puntos de Encuentro and broadcast in 13 countries. She has also written numerous radio programs, several TV formats, and four short films.
She has honed her scriptwriting skills under renowned mentors, including Brazilian Iana Cossoy, US-Colombian Diana Lezmes, US writer John Vorhaus, and Nicaraguan René Blanco and Germán Pomares Herrera, among others. Morena’s storytelling combines creativity, cultural insight, and emotional depth, making her a versatile and compelling voice in film, TV, and radio.
